Never buy a king-sized pillow unless you are prepared to hunt for a king-sized pillowcase. Chris got a new pillow yesterday because he'd finally beaten his to a pulp, and we didn't realize until we got it home that it was a king-size pillow. Its approximately the size of Rhode Island, and of course all of our pillowcases are standard sized. Honestly, I didn't even know pillows CAME in king-size. So back to the store we went, where the only king-sized pillowcases were all scratchy. Off to another store, where the king-sized pillowcases were purple with green flowers. In desperation, we started looking at the flat sheets, figuring I could sew a pillowcase. We managed to find a fitted sheet that was the right color and texture, and brought it home. I unstrung about 50 feet of elastic, did some measuring, cutting, and sewing, and a little while later we had a workable pillowcase.Now maybe he'll stop stealing my pillows.

If only we lived closer to you! We have a king size bed and bought a set of King size bedding.... we don't have king size pillows and those pillow cases are HUGE! Mary plays in them...
Josh accidentally buys king-sized pillow cases all the time. I hate them, I get all tangled up in them when I sleep. I make him use them.

The sears around where we live has pillows buy one get one free so me and hubby got really nice pillows for the price of one!
